iPad2 by Apple inc.

Gee. i can't believe i caught up with times! For three days now, i am a proud owner/user of iPad2. 64GB, 3G + Wifi. Cool stuff. Still trying to enjoy it though. Actually, not an Apple (Macbook) fan but Singtel have this offers that is really tempting and will create a sense of need in you, i know its false but tried anyways. Welcome to modern-day age of gadgets...

Not used to having to open an eye-catching device in public transport. Always thought that people are looking at you and thinking that you're a nerd. But i guess in Singapore, people really doesn't mind. Just make sure you wear earphones with volume tamed as not to let the guy two seats in front of you getting annoyed with your weirdo music genre. Things that you cannot do in our beloved Philippines. Try it in a jeepney from Labangon to Colon and see if you won't go home empty handed. Reality sucks!

For three nights in a row i slept about 2am only to spend meaningless hours tinkering with the iPad2. Sh*t this tablet doesnt support Adobe flash movies (*.swf) format. Darn Steve Jobs! i dislike the way i can't have total control of my new device. no right click and stuff like that.

One thing i immediately liked is the Mail apps that unite all of my online web-based free email (yahoo, gmail, ymail, hotmail) accounts. Need a lot of "getting used to" in order to enjoy Stevie's creation. Should learn. Must learn. To the point that i can be able to teach - my non-techie wifey. Planning to give one for Christmas.

Hmmm, how about my two sons Kevin & Daryl? Sure they will hi-jack their mom's iPad2 by then, haha... Anyone know for sure if Cebu customs won't tax an OFW coming home with 3 brand-new "still-in-the-box" iPads? i don't want to pay extra 'grease-money' for it... any ideas? anyone?

My new best friend. Apple iPad2.

Goodnight future me. Hope you won't get tired reading my non-sense-trying-to-get-sleepy doodles of words.

Goodnight mother earth!

KOM in Seoul, Korea

04-July-2011. Seoul, So. Korea:
Hello Ritz Carlton!

After a 6-hr flight from Changi airport and a 45-min limo-bus ride from Incheon airport, a welcome chocolate awaits in my room. Executive floor on the 5th level, with balcony. 5-8pm is the free flow drinks and finger foods in the exec lounge at the 12th floor.
Nice place. Cozy bedroom. Comfy bed. All by myself! *sob*

Welcome Mr. Perez.

 Empty bed.

Nice view from the lounge... enjoying Jack Daniels and Hite beers to drown the night...

Overall, it was a nice respite. Anything free and away from office is good hehe  :))
